Postal carriers collect non-perishable food donations left by mailboxes and in post offices on Saturday, May 9, 2015. Every second Saturday in May, letter carriers in more than 10,000 cities and towns across America collect the goodness and compassion of their postal customers, who participate in the NALC Stamp Out Hunger National Food Drive — the largest one-day food drive in the nation.  The Westonka Food Shelf is a beneficiary of this enormous collection effort.  Please support us by leaving your canned goods by your mail box on Saturday morning, May 9th!

Can you provide milk money?  One or our largest continuing expenses is milk.  Are you able to help provide milk to those in need with a one time or recurring donation?

We welcome your financial support. Consider The Westonka Food Shelf as you make your charitible donations.  Every penny of every dollar you donate goes directly to those in need.  We appreciate your ongoing generosity and support!

EVENTS

In partnership with American Legion Post #398, a team of MWHS DECA students, our local churches and businesses, we will again be serving a

complimentary Thanksgiving Meal for all members of our community who would enjoy sharing a holiday meal with others.  The event is hosted at The American Legion in Mound on Thanksgiving Day from 12:00 to 4:00pm and is made possible by the generosity of many.  If you would like to attend, please call us at 952-472-5599 to RSVP.
