One of our youth volunteers, a sophomore at Mound Westonka High School, raised $2,000 dollars to provide 200 slow cookers to patrons of The Westonka Food Shelf. Many patrons have limited cooking appliances and this efforted supported WFS' s goal to provide families facing food insecurity with easy, healthy meals. Thank you to everyone who supported this fundraiser!

Lund's Food Rescue Program

The Westonka Food Shelf continues it's Food Rescue Program with Lund's! Thanks to Lund's generosity, we receive produce and perishable foods close to expiration 6 days per week. If you are a Westonka Food Shelf patron you may now supplement your 30 day food allotment by stopping in one time per week to obtain an additional bag of food as available.

We sincerely appreciate Lund's generosity in reducing hunger in our community!
