Volunteers are the heart of all we do!

Westonka Food Shelf relies on selfless volunteers to serve in every capacity of our organization. There are many opportunities to help; some require very little commitment, while others need more involvement. Consider how you would like to share your talents to serve your neighbors facing hunger. Chances are we have just the right place for you to make a difference in the lives of others!

Volunteer Opportunities

Assist patrons in obtaining the food they need (on regular or substitute basis)
Unload food bank deliveries
Stock shelves
Collect "food rescue" from local market

Sort donations from local individuals, businesses and churches
Provide delivery to homebound patrons

Office assistance

Light cleaning to keep our new home beautiful

Registered Dietitian or Nutritionist (occasional support)
